Nevett Ford provides pro bono legal advice to disadvantaged individuals, charities and not for profit organisations; these activities are the heart of the Nevett Ford Community Partnership Program.

Through the ED Black Trust we manage an annual grant program providing additional financial support to charitable projects or causes - frequently at the request of staff and directors.

We encourage all staff, lawyers and non-lawyers to volunteer their services in areas of interest to them personally.  As a firm we have defined our specific charitable targets as being to:

• help alleviate poverty and improve community welfare.
• help children and young people at risk.

Our staff are actively involved in many community groups including:

• Ballarat Pony Club
• Board of the District Nurses Association
• Board North Ballarat Football Club
• Board North Ballarat Sports Club
• Board Ballarat & District Trotting Club
• Research Ethics Committee for the University of Ballarat
• Board of University of Ballarat
